Jeruk Bali!!

"Jeruk Bali" is basically a Pomello. Believed to be the largest citrus, it tastes and looks like huge grapefruit, but tastes much sweeter.


Missy has had Jeruk Bali quite a bit now. It seems like everytime we visit someone from Indo, they have a Jeruk Bali. So...when she saw that they were selling one at the grocery store, she got one from me....Below you can see how much of this fruit is "shell" and how much you can actually eat:)

Stage one: halfway there it doesn't look bad.

Stage two: the bowl on the Left has the actual "meat" of the fruit and the plate on the right is covered with all the skin and shell that you have to peel off.

eventhough we didn't get as much Jeruk bali as we expected, it was definately worth it.
